SACA honours Lehmann with Bronze statue

The South Australia Cricket Association (SACA) have installed a bronze statue of retired Aussie all-rounder Darren Lehmann at the Adelaide Oval, in recognition of his cricketing services to the region.
A Port Lincoln-based artist named Ken Martin designed the sculpture, which shows Lehman playing one of his trademark front foot strokes.
Perth Scorchers are 1.66 to defeat Sydney Sixers, who themselves are 2.20 to get the win in the upcoming Big Bash League final.
Lehman was delighted to be honoured by SACA and he joked that the statue probably didn't reflect his actual size due to the shortage of bronze.
In a quick word with the Herald Sunday, Lehmann said, "They could have had a bit more weight on it, but they probably couldn't afford more bronze. I'm ecstatic with what SACA have done to have this at the oval, it's here for a lifetime."
He continued, "It's a huge honour to have this, at my home of cricket. To be 22 yards away from one of my great mates Jason Gillespie. I don't think I'd hit him that far with that shot, but it looks really good, he's (Martin) done a great job."
The SACA is expected to install six more statues of local legends at the Adelaide Oval in order to freshen up the historical stadium's look.
