Wade not getting carried away

Having claimed man of the match titles in his T20 and ODI debuts no one would have problems with new Australian wicketkeeper Matthew Wade if he believes that he is now the country's first choice.
But the humble Victorian is refusing to get carried away and is not looking beyond the first three Commonwealth Bank matches, for which he is picked.
Australia are 1.14 to win the 2012 Commonwealth Bank Series, while India are 1213.00 and Sri Lanka are 5.50.
Wade made 72 runs from just 43 deliveries on his T20 debut for Australia against India and then followed it up with a 67-run knock in his first ever ODI. He also took two catches in that game and was the clear choice for the man of the match award.
So much success so early in someone's career could make that person a bit arrogant but that's certainly not the case with Wade.

I just want to do as well as I can in the three games that I'm picked. If I look too far ahead, you don't know what's going to happen.

When asked if he believes his services will be retained after the first three ODIs, the 24-year old keeper replied: "I think that would be a bad option. The environment that I'm in, it's all about the next game.
"I just want to do as well as I can in the three games that I'm picked. If I look too far ahead, you don't know what's going to happen - it's a pretty fickle game that we play. You've just got to live in the moment and concentrate on the next ball."
