England fast bowler Chris Tremlett expects to be sidelined until April due to the back injury which ended his participation in the Test series with Pakistan in the UAE.
Tremlett featured in the 10-wicket defeat in the first Test before being forced to return home for tests on a fresh back problem, which has now been confirmed as a bulging disc.
"After seeing specialist scans reveal a bulging disc and may require a little clean-up. Hopefully back playing mid to end of April," Tremlett confirmed via Twitter.

The giant paceman missed the whole of the summer series against India due to back problems, before returning to action briefly in the Middle East.
Injury woes have restricted the 30-year-old to just 11 Test appearances during his career, but England physio Ben Langley has backed Tremlett to come back from yet another setback.
He told The Sun: "The programme he followed after breaking down last summer has not worked, so he might have to go down the surgery route.
"If Chris does need an operation, we are hopeful he will be able to bowl again in the future. He always does his rehab very diligently, so he will certainly give himself the best chance of a full recovery."
In Tremlett's absence England are 2.87 to win the third and final Test against Pakistan, having already surrendered the series by losing the first two matches.
Pakistan are 2.50 to seal a 3-0 whitewash, while the draw is 3.25.
