Glory determined to end Brisbane supremacy

Perth Glory midfielder Steven McGarry is in confident mood ahead of his side's Grand Final meeting with Brisbane Roar.
The Glory defeated Central Coast Mariners on penalties over the weekend in their qualifying final and are now set to contest the A-League Grand Final for the very first time in their history.
McGarry, who was benched for that game due to his lack of match fitness, said that his club hasn't come this far to relax and be bullied by the defending champions. In fact, they are determined to give their all in the last match of the 2011-12 domestic season and achieve A-League glory for the very first time.
This year's A-League Grand Final will be played next Sunday. Perth Glory are 5.25 to win that match, while Brisbane Roar are 1.66 and the draw is 3.60.
He said: "It's an incredible belief the guys have had and it's amazing what we've achieved, from what we've come from. It was sort of going along the lines of last season when we got a good start and then the trend started happening again where we started losing games even though we were playing reasonably well. But then we just sort of turned the corner.
"We go over (to Brisbane) now with major belief ... We're not going over there just to be part of what they're calling Orange Sunday, we're going to make it, hopefully, a Purple Sunday. They're not unbeatable and the way we're playing now we think we can go over there and clinch the win ... if we go up there and play to our game plan we can definitely do it."
