No rest for Roar

Brisbane's Thomas Broich in action.
Brisbane Roar skipper Matt Smith claims their AFC Champions League clash with Ulsan Hyundai will help create a positive momentum ahead of the A-League Grand Final match against Perth Glory.
The Roar face a crucial week of football, as they will first have to beat Ulsan in order to stay alive in the continental competition and then have to put their A-League title on the line against an in-form Glory side.
Brisbane's next AFC Champions League fixture will be played on Tuesday at Suncorp Stadium. The Roar are 2.05 to win, with Ulsan at 3.40 and the draw at 3.50.
With the A-League title match just around the corner, Brisbane could be excused if they decide to rest a few of their key players against the Korean giants Ulsan, who haven't tasted a defeat in their three ACL matches this season.
But Smith says that they are forced to do far more exhaustive things in training sessions and so he and his teammates have no qualms about playing the full Ulsan game on Tuesday.
The Brisbane captain said: "At the moment we're not focusing too much on the grand final on Sunday, it's all about trying to get three points against Ulsan at Suncorp tomorrow night. We've been preparing for this moment for quite a long time and I'm pleased we do have a game, because otherwise we'd be getting smashed (at training) tomorrow.
"We've kind of gained momentum in the last few weeks because we've had the midweek game. In terms of routine, it feels like we should always have a midweek game now. I think it's more of a positive that we're playing as opposed to a negative and I think we can create some rhythm heading into Sunday as well."
