Franz Beckenbauer is looking for Bayern Munich to progress in the Champions League as he is hoping for a 'dream' final against Barcelona in May.
Jupp Heynckes is looking to guide Bayern Munich to the Champions League final.
The former World Cup winner is desperate for Bayern to get through to the showpiece final this year as it is being held at their Allianz Arena home, while he feels defending champions Barca would be the ideal opponents given that they are in the opposite half of the draw.
Beckenbauer expects Bayern's quarter-final opponents Marseille to be a tough proposition despite their current struggles in the French Ligue 1, with the German giants 1.72 to pick up a win in the away leg on Wednesday, while Didier Deschamps' side are 5.00 and the draw is 3.60.

If Bayern can get past Marseille then a two-legged semi-final with either Real Madrid or APOEL Nicosia would lie in wait, while Barca have AC Milan to overcome followed by the winner of the Benfica and Chelsea tie.
However Beckenbauer can see no reason why his ideal final will not happen on Saturday 19th May.
"That is certainly what we all dream about, not just Bayern fans," he said. "Somehow I believe in this final, but there is still a long way to go.
"I am still dreaming about it. Real Madrid and Barcelona are currently the best sides in Europe and you have got to play against them at some point if you want to win the Champions League."
On the prospect of facing Marseille, he added on the German Football Association's website: "It would be disrespectful to talk of an underdog. With the exceptions of Real and Barcelona, all six sides are on a similar level.
"Olympique Marseille are truly strong opponents and they showed that in both games against Dortmund and in the last round against Inter Milan.
"They are going to be two very tight games for Bayern."
