Mullholland hits purple patch

Trainer Neil Mullholland continued his fine form at Taunton yesterday following the terrific win by Midnight Chase in Saturday's big Argento Chase at Cheltenham.
Mullholland's Hobb's Dream bolted clear in the first race on the Taunton card to win by a hugely impressive eight lengths at 25/1 and make a mockery of the book.
Clearly this is a trainer on which to keep the right side of given the manner of the victories by both horses although it quickly became clear that Midnight Chase's plans are on hold.
Many had hoped to see him go for the Grand National but those hopes have been quickly squashed by the trainer after talks with the owners.
Baby Run is 1000.00 to win the Grand National while Our Monty can be backed at 1000.00, Midnight Chase at 1000.00 and Chicago Grey at 17.00.

Mullholland said: "The family are not very keen to run him. They have just seen him win a Grade 2 race and they don't want to send him out there for a rough race.
"He could fall and that could wreck his confidence and we are all aware that he may well have another two year's racing in him."
With the yard in such good form it may be worth taking an interest in his Matrow's Lady in Ludlow's 2.40 given the horse has a decent level of recent form
