Eli Manning led the New York Giants to their second Super Bowl win in four years with a 21-17 victory over the New England Patriots in Indianapolis.
Eli Manning was named MVP as the Giants won the Super Bowl.Playing in the house that older brother Peyton built, the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, the younger Manning led the Giants 88 yards in the final four minutes of play to secure the victory, after New York had rallied from a 17-9 deficit with two Lawrence Tynes field goals closing the gap to a couple of points going into the final period.
Ahmad Bradshaw went over from six yards out with under a minute remaining for the margin of victory and New England were unable to mount a successful drive in the time remaining.
The victory was the fourth in five years for the National Conference ,with wins also by the Green Bay Packers over the Pittsburgh Steelers last season and New Orleans Saints taking care of Peyton's Colts in 2010.
The Giants are 21.00 to retain their NFL crown, with the New England Patriots 7.50 to go one better next season.
